This is one of those icons that has aged like a fine wine. Child's play, and Chucky used to not be taken as seriously in the late 80s and 90s cause it's a doll, but the series has aged very well over the years. Other franchise's can learn a lot from Childs play in the fact that they have continued with sequels with the original cast, and even bringing back the real actor for Andy, and Kyle, and linking the old cast with the new ones, instead of making reboots, and remakes. Child's play 1 and 2, and Bride, curse, and Cult are all great horror movies. There is only a couple duds in the series being 3 and seed. But yea Child's play has done a lot right over the years.
